Do you know that as per according to the new research, the more you will be spending time with your mom, the longer she will be living in her life ahead. So it’s time to pick up the phone and spend time with mom if you want to stay with her and want her to stay alive for the next so many years. Well it is all the more a known fact that how much it affects our mood when we are all lonely, and the effect isolation has on our physical state all along with our mental state as it has been now backed by science.
A study that was conducted back in 2012 has on the whole watched over 1,600 adults with an average age of 71, and so as compared their social interactions with their ongoing life span. The researchers did investigated around that 23% of the participants who reported loneliness died within six years. Meanwhile, only the score of 14% of those with companionship had on the whole died during the same time period.
This made the researchers to come on the conclusion that loneliness is a significant factor in the decline of quality of life in older adults. This raises upon the risk of depression as well as cognitive impairment and other health problems adding with coronary heart disease. These all factors may lead to an earlier death.
A study was published in the year 2010 did discussed upon the fact that social ties can be as important to extending life as on terms of losing weight if you are obese and getting active if you are sedentary. So all in all loneliness and isolation are somehow taken to be the terrible causes for disturbing the health of your mother.
